The new weekly Domain Sales column is out at Domain Name Journal. I'm in a state of semi-shock after seeing a 3-letter .DE top the chart after selling for more than $42,000! That was just one of four 5-figure sales last week (one of those taking place right here on DNForum!).
Other highlights include still another appearance by .info on the Top Ten chart with a $7,500 sale. The .infos also swept the new TLD chart again (and three of those were 4-figure sales). Looks like that extension has separated itself from the rest of the new TLD pack and is really starting to gain some traction. We also had a .org make the Top Ten.
The strong sales could be due to the overall market improving. I am late getting the column out today because a New York Times reporter called and had me on the phone for over an hour. They are working on a story about the domain market staging a comeback. Should be out before Christmas.
