Could you tell us where these people signed up on an opt-in list, and what they signed up for? Was it a double opt-in?

It's just that it seems a little incredible that 320 million people would sign up for opt-in advertising.

bullshit.

if you are selling them, they are no longer opt-in.

unless, of course, you got 320 million people to give you their email address with permission to sell it. I'd like to see all 320 million affadavits to that effect.

otherwise, you are a spammer.

mods, I suggest you take this thread seriously and do something. there is no room on a respectable forum for crap like this.

Some people call "opt-in" addresses, those that do not "opt-out" after a certain amount of campaigns. Alternatively, I've heard the term "filtered". I'd like to hear the method by which these were acquired as well.

Sorry to poop in your thread, but seriously. This is crap. I get that sort of spam all the time and I NEVER GAVE MY PERMISSION FOR IT. If you're against spam, you wouldn't sell that list.

You should also think about something when selling this list. If you sell to someone, and that person finds his email addresses on the list, they could turn around and sue you. (Assuming they didn't give you permission to sell his email address).

By the way, it's .000000031 per email, not .000000015 per email.

Were you selling this list for $5.00 earlier?

With the help of [ UCE ]marketing, you will receive:

-Popularity!
:-D

Let me clear things up. I understand that it sounds ridiculous, but I am telling the truth. This is a permission based email list which is even better. Permission-based lists mean that the recipients have been given the opportunity to "opt-in," by giving their permission to have third parties send them email. In other words THEY WANT YOUR PRODUCT!!

I have to ask that anyone buying these email addresses to observe what category each email address is in and not send your message to them if your product is not in their category. Sending them offers that don't match their interests would be considered spamming. We DO NOT condone any type of Spam.

Thanks.

What about this ?

I get many spam emails asking me to buy lists just like you described. Such lists are circulated over and over again to 10 then 100 then 10000. It's really up to what the seller wants to claim about 'opt-in' after it leaves the originating source - the originating source should have some prove (via server records etc) that an email address has been duly verified for opt-in compliance, and in what specific circumstances. It is clear this list has been collected through various sources making evidence of opt-in ridiculously unfeasible if not impossible to verify, and you will get into big trouble if you actually use them via your own email servers.

tez, you are only incriminating yourself publicly for a lousy few bucks here. Not worth it, imho.

What this member sold the list for on previous occasions is IMO irrelevant, just as name sales vary in price from time to time.
tekz999 has responded to the question of what is meant by "OPT-IN E-MAIL ADDRESSES" and it is now up to each one to decide whether or not the offer is of interest to them on the basis of the information given - if it isn't of interest to you please do not post to spoil the thread.
Thank you.

There is absolutely no way that over half the total worldwide online population has opted into YOUR list. Flat out no chance what so ever. It is frankly very disturbing that the moderators allow such nonsense to be perpetuated on these Forums.

so an amount of people equal to the entire population of the USA gave you their email address and said it was ok for you to sell it and send tons of email to it?

Yes. I understand everyone's concern. I, myself hate to receive information that I have never subscribed. But the list was updated on March, 2004. I have already taken out unscribers. As stated before, I request anyone who purchase the email package be sure to send email according to categories. Please do not send information that falls out of the category. There are many categories included. For example, addresses, auto, classified, dining, garden, golf, homebiz, international, investment, music, opportunity seekers, outdoor, psychic, showbiz, superlist, travel, webdesign, adult, canada, culture, gamble, geographic, health, hotlist, internic, miscellaneous, network marketers, pet lovers, publish, sci-fi, and sports. Just to give you an idea of the categories.

Also, if you think this is unreal. Then please, do not buy it. I am not forcing anyone to buy it. Its your choice :)

Thanks!!

Unless you can prove opt-in permissions which I doubt you ever can, this is clearly a spam list and you do have quite a nerve to post here with such impudence. Sure, nobody should buy this list. Just like you shouldn't be posting it here in the first place. This is a domain forum, not a spammers, hackerz and warez hideout.
