closed 4 Letter Domains

Given the current average prices of good 3 letter .coms ($1200-$5000 with acronym possibilities, and the mention in the DNF newsletter that a 3 letter .com is in the process of being sold for a $xxx,xxx figure, what is the general opinion of this forum regarding the current future value of 4 letter domains with the .com extension? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
