5 number com prices are still on the downfall. Prices will go down even more, before they go up... Due to people dumping money into the stocks.

Renewal price went up, so are not more people selling now?

When renewel prices go up, domain names become worth less. It's harder to sell domain names with higher renew, cause people don't wanna get stuck with more fees. I own a 5 number com. I am waiting for the value to go up before I sell it, unless somebody wants to pay my price now.

The price drop of .com may be due to the rise of new top-level domains, which has increased the options for people to register domain names, or the good .com domain names have been taken, or the renewal prices have increased.
