Wondering about possible value

most mixed 3 character .coms are BELIEVED to be going for about $100 event.

However... I've been watching and compiling a list and the ACTUAL average of 3 character dot coms is closer to $240 USD. ($237.19 actually) over all the domains I've tracked in the past two weeks.

So, try as we might to keep the value of a 3 char .com down to $100 bucks or less... the AVERAGE is twice that now.

Update...

Some new 3 character dot coms sold today pushing the Average UP to over $245 each.

I'd say the market is heating up somewhat.

And, for the record, I agree with Dave.

In and of themselves, very few 3 character dot ANYTHING domains have natrual value. It's the fact that there are no more that lends value to speculators. That's about it.

the 3 charaters you are referring to include domains that were bought by endusers, so you cant really take those into the calculation, the chance of selling a random NNL to an endsuer is very small, chances are you only gonna get reseller prices which is around 120-150 right now.

I don't know about that... most of the domains I'm been logging have been purchased by domainers are are now parked.

I think they are simply rising in value... it's what the laws of averages are telling me.
