I picked up a couple of Zip Code .coms. Any thoughts on the value?

85056.COM
1 Cities with ZIP Code 85056:
Phoenix, AZ (pop. 1,321,045)

89552.COM
1 Cities with ZIP Code 89552:
Reno, NV (pop. 180,480)

Any responses? Is there a good avg for Zip codes? These are in pretty popular cities!

Zip code dot coms typically resell for $XXX - $XXXX. 85056 and 89552 return this result at USPS website: "The ZIP Code you entered could not be found in our database. Please confirm the ZIP Code and try again."

I tend to use www.city-data.com to check up demographics for zip codes.

This also comes up with no data for these zip codes.

The populations you mention seem to be for the actual cities, and those cities have numerous zip codes. So just to clarify, the zip codes you give aren't for the whole city.

From the zip codes I've investigated (and invested in), the populations typically range between 200 and 30,000 for a single zip code.

It may be the case that your zip codes are new ones? Or perhaps ones that have been allocated/assigned, but not yet used? (or soon to be used?).

For interest, does any one know for sure if there are zip codes that have been allocated, but not used yet, with the idea that they will be used in the near future? These would presumably acquire increased value once they start being used as zip codes?

Unless schlesinger has taken over responsibility for assigning and managing US postal zip codes, I would rely on the United States Postal Service website for that information.

USPS website errors can be reported to: [email protected].
