I get email alerts for dot com names for sale on eBay. Most are the usual thing 99c for this, $9 for that, so I was a bit surprised to see this one from a seller with a 100% 9 score reputation, opening bid $76,000, BIN $8million. No bids yet and 2 days to go. Does anyone think he'll sell it?

Probably an IDN, because FB.com is owned by Facebook.

If it's for real and has a low enough bin, hell yeah it'll sell.

I thought facebook already owned it...hmmm

Maybe Facebook needs to raise some cash for another billion dollar purchase of a company with no revenue?

I notice the item location is Beverly Hills and it 'may not ship to UK', but Paypal is acceptable or 'pay on collection'. Wonder what the auction entry charge was?

Its rubbish, do you really think Facebook would sell FB.com??

Can we pay in facebook shares for this worthless domain ? :P

Welcome to ƒb.com.

Parked GoDaddy page.

Putting symbols together to form something that does not exist is pointless and worthless.

Back in September 2010, Facebook acquired FB.com for $8.5 million.

Facebook is pointing FB.com/username to Facebook.com/username .
