I'm with Timechange - these can only go up in value - hold onto them. Great names will never depreciate.

MG.com, 40k-60k or more. The other three letter domains, 5-20k.

MG.com - > 30 - 50K
UG.com - > 15 - 20K

Others -> 10 - 15K

There is no chance that even who buys with 8K or less already.

You are doing this intentionally right?

HTF can you appraise a 2 letter .com for $5 K? You should have a very lousy confidence interval statistically right? like + 10K.

This names could sell at $12K minimum wholesale. For an end-user God knows, depends on how desperate they are.

Do not sell them wholesale. Hold them until an end-user find you.

it just shows drwho has no clue when appraising domain names.

Apprasing mg.com to 5k (the sum of what music.us was sold for) is just plain ignorance.

Hell, I know for a fact that he could probably sell it for $20k on this board alone

DrWho knows nothing.
MG and UG at least 20k.
A bit less for the others.

When you find the end-user that represents a company or a corporation that would pay $20k at a blink of an eye, then you can claim the fame to that much.

The $5k to $8k range is very much realistic in the reseller world and the current market conditions, especially if you intend to sell the names fast. Otherwise, just hold - it's less than $8 per year per domain.

The sooner we stop talking about "current market conditions" the sooner they might improve.

I agree, hold these until you find the right end user.

I think who was right on the money, his appraisals are generally pretty much what resellers are will to pay for these domains, at the present time. I don't think he bases his appraisal on end users, but we all know that nobody knows what an enduser is willing to pay, until we find one. It would be a big mistake to get off these names at almost any price at present, in my opinion.

Reason: .org no longer allows 2 letters back into the pool, and soon .com and .net won't either, according to a few registrars. Why take the chance of selling them now, when they will only go up in price, when the market value rises, and even more if two letters can't be reregged. They are worth so much now because there are a limited number of them, and as that number gets smaller, the value will go up. HOLD.

I'd pay $7,500 for qn.com. That proves these are worth more than 5K. However, quite recently all these were listed at afternic.com with a minimum offer wanted for $40,000 and an asking price of $150,000. Therefore, I will not even bother submitting my offer. Yakov is only playing with the people here for his own amusement.
