^ Friend of mine had intentions of utilizing this domain through a message board to help tutor anyone interested in learning, or bettering their selves as a rapper or poet. I do own the domain as a favor to him at the time of his conception of this idea, but he's yet to show initiative to use it other than telling people about it; which has generated a little type in traffic. Not sure if that would help me dump it now or not.

I sold Rapper.net
If you think these names are worth something, be my guest and sell them for anything over reg fee.

Be my guest and quote where I ever said they were worth something. This is a request for appraisal. Your... mockery or lack there of, of what stereotype you prejudiced was weak. Thanks for bumping twice though. :ok:

I am sorry, did my little ditty offend you?
Lack of sense of humor or some deep-rooted phear of Eminem?
I gave my appraisal in the rap song.

wow another ignorant know-it-all with crappy domains that doesnt like realistic valuations of garbarge... you want reasoning so here is a a little detailed appraisal:

hiphopcamp might be ok, but camphiphop is not,
would you rather own something like baseballacademy or academybaseball?

anything with consistent traffic below lets say 30 hits a month is basically worthless on a traffic basis and there is no way your domain is getting any converting traffic that would be worth mentioning

google results and OVT are low to not relevant for this..no demand...
..plenty of better alternatives are available for anyone wanting to make a site in that direction of thought..

sorry to say..but this domain is not worth renewing...

http://secure.hop.com/

Would you mind if I ask which level you're at?

:uhoh: Really, I'd appreciate anyone that can tell me what post this lost one is reading, because you'd swear he was talking to the wind. I mean, I'm ignorant to what? Is this not properly indexed in a appraisal forum? I'm a know it all, was this not created with intention of requesting information of value? I get terrible attempts at attacking a domain name I legally own, but I "doesnt" like those "realistic valuations". Well, ok that makes sense.

Thanks for keeping my thread at the top guys.

Instead of the Hooked on Phonics link you meant to post the Hooked on Ebonics?

Being in denial about a domain's worth is no excuse to get all upset. Some people even say thank you because you might save next year's renewal fees.

why is this person being attacked? He asked for an appraisal and he is being mocked instead... He didnt say anything to deserve comments like this one:

"wow another ignorant know-it-all with crappy domains that doesnt like realistic valuations of garbarge... you want reasoning so here is a a little detailed appraisal:"

He did not argue about the "reg-fee" appraisals(which I agree to by the way), but for the way they were presented. Try to be nicer next time, not everybody has one word generics and not everybody knows the value of his domains - hence the purpose of the appraisal forum's existence

Another free bump for a worthless domain then.

who is being mocked? I think arcoplex gave a very creative appraisal..all that the owner of an obviously worthless domain has to say is NO to appraisals he didnt like, then he makes fun of people typing fast making grammar errors or whatever. English is not my native language either, so make fun of me all you want..its always the same....people that think that society owes them respect or something like that are the last ones to respect anyone here..

Undeveloped I do not see either of these two pairs of domains having a ready market, however, as you know that does not mean to say there is not a buyer out there for them. Might I suggest in this instance you invite your friend around and tie him to a chair in front of a computer and blackmail him into starting work on at least one site! You could always threaten him that you would record yourself singing Acro's so called ditty and play it continuously to him! That threat should soon start him working.

I do not know the hip-hop market but if a developed site was well done I am sure that word would spread and its traffic would grow.

Good luck.

I am not his attorney I'm not going to argue with you:) Domainah called him ignorant for not accepting that his names have no value, while there was no post from the OP that suggested that he does not accept that his domains are worthless. All the replies he posted so far were reactions to sarcastic comments. My post was referring mainly to that, and I certainly am in no mood to get into an argument over something like this.

A man with common sense. :-) Thanks, btw.

And to BILLBO, I always assumed they had to be developed to garner value; I just wanted confirmation. I can't say his grandeur plan for these particular domains would work, but I've seen ideas with less blossom quite well. Who really knows?

evolutionofhiphop.com

I think it's good name if you develop into viable website.

go all the way back to "the last poets" and forward to "floetry"

grand master, furious five and all those in between

from gangstar to gangsta....from east coast to the west

with "common" in the middle

tell the history of the times and the clocks of "flava-flav"

from ice T > to ice cube > to vanilla ice ice baby

the name has potential!
