How much is a.nf worth? I acquired this domain in trade for a "domain ERROR" that I registered. The registry already had a very big established site on a reserved domain, but it wasn't reserved so I registered it!

But they decided to award me a one letter .nf domain in trade for that name.

How much is a.nf worth? There are no other one letter .NF domains registered, and it's not even possible to register them!

This is a really tricky one as single letter .nf's are not allowed, therefore basically (for the time being at least) this is a totally unique domain!

Depending on renewal fees (how much does a single letter cost to renew?), you could be offering something that is absolutely totally individual (I am amazed, just in case you hadn't gathered that).

In the domainer market 5 figures easily without even thinking about it (this is as long as the .nf do not intend changing their minds and start offering the other 25 letters and 10 numbers for registration - in which case the value would drop obviously). I cannot be more accurate than that, sorry.

To an end user utilizing the 3 letters as a hacked name for their company it is priceless (well damn well near).

Am I jealous, heck yes, of course I am. But I do wish you the very best with it.

what country is .nf ? Just looked up, Norfolk Island, a territory of Australia, population 2,000

for it's rarity alone, a one character domain like this could go for xx,xxx easily, probably to a collector.

NF also is used for the province of Newfoundland in Canada.

time to start looking up acronyms and finding the possible uses for this.

Is the .nf registry fairly honest, meaning could you see them revoking this name at some point?

The .NF people are based in California and after several contacts they seem extremely nice about the situation that happened. I am doubtful that they will be revoking this name as they made me a very clear solution, and acknowledged they would be giving me a single letter name.

This registration costs the same $150.

The first company that came to mind for me when I saw this Domain was Abercrombie & Fitch...it's their Stock Market Abbreviation.

why did you choose the 'a', could you have chosen any letter?

I think the name would still be valuable even if all 26 letters were regged.

I chose A because it is notorious for being the best letter. Yes, I could have chosen anything.

I did some searches too, and Anf had more results then anything else i checked.
