I have. I keep wondering if consumers in California would accept or reject the use of the dot ca tld to mean California instead of Canada.

It won't matter right now since they are restricted to those with Canadian presence.

Possibly ...in the future.

most all of the major cities in california are taken... so somebody is banking on it having value... you dont have to be a us citizen to profit from a us city name....

Yes a nice pick up in dot ca activity, cleary they are not as affected as other segments as they were never hugely overpriced or speculated as .com. When you can pick up premium generics for $XXXX+ why wouldnt you :)

David,

First , it's not just cities in california that are taken ...LOL

There are cities in spain , italy...that are taken too.

Second, in order for those cities in california to really gain value in the future.. the extension has to open up to the world. Since californians can't buy the domains.

For those of us with websites hitting on the .ca/california angle - we know the deal.
