Say I have a shared server with many add-on domains.
Instead of installing a forum on every site, I install a forum on the main domain for the shared server.
So then, the sites on all the add-on domains get there own forum, but the url will be for the main site.
When search engines hit the forums, they wont have the add-on domain in the link, they have the main domain which is bad for branding.
So I could have a framed page from the add-on domains to the forum, showing the add-on domain in the address bar.
But for SEO, how do I stop SE's indexing the main domain, and adding the add-on domains seperatly, for good branding?
Would it be a robots.txt disallow for the main domain?
Rich
