Advice on Starting a Music/Song Forum?

I want to start a music/song forum I need advice on getting started and attracting inital people to start the site off

I have started one a few weeks ago.. Not many members yet - a couple of new ones per day.. I have redirected a couple of music related domains to the forum, submitted it to a few music directories and run a google adwords campaign. Tell a few of your friends to signup and make new posts to make it interesting for people that visit your forum in order to signup. I would also be interested in a few ideas

- exchange links
- submit to directories
- add some attractive content
- ...
