Domain Name - FloridaLawyer.com

In a phone message I asked the Executive Director of the Florida Bar if the Florida Bar wanted to buy the domain name. I received phone message from the General Counsel of the Florida Bar stating that they were very interested in the name, and would "make it worth my while."

To date no price has been discussed.

When they ask me how much I want on the one hand I don't want to scare them off, but on the other hand I don't want to negotiate against myself.

I was thinking of asking for between $25-$30k.

Some input and thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.

Thanks

Never be the first one to put a number down, but if you really must, be sure to make it a good number.

Its unlikely that its a large company since they are looking to upgrade their name.
If its a small office 25K is a years (net) salary of one of the lawyers.

I would say a set price of $10K but you are accepting all reasonable offers
at this time. Then you are guaranteed a moderate offer

would "make it worth my while." is odd they would speculate a high price
for themselves. If they're talking like that then sounds like they're going to
make the initial offer.
