SnapNames continues on the comeback trail, landing 3 domains in the Top Ten (undoubtedly with many more to come if their new alliance with Network Solutions passes muster with ICANN and avoids legal landmines). I'm sure the snpanames arrangement with network soulutions is a sure invitation for litigation.. going to be interesting to see how that plays out.

No, but close. Lyrics.ws went for a little more a few months back - $1,000 (or a hair above as I recall - don't feel like wading through the Archive after being on the site all day!)

Well I think it is a better name that lyrics.ws which went for $1,000. Top advertiser bid at OT for cigarettes is $2.50 per click. No bids for lyrics and if you look lyrics up in Google you can see there are no advertisers at all even though it is a very popular search term. So, if cigarettes.ws was developed and you could get some traffic to it, it could be a nice little money machine.
