alexa ranking

can someone please explain to me what alexa ranking is all about?

i just brought a site which has 92,000+ alexa ranking and another site that has 52,000+ ranking

which of these two ranking is better and why?

But alexa is super biased.

Webmaster or domain related sites have a WAY higher ranking that say a clothing store site.

Try to look at the Alexa reach rank rather than the traffic rank also. IMHO it's of better guidance to the actual traffic.
