Amazon rolls out its own payment system, to spite eBay and PayPal.

Look's like they have the same basics as PayPal, no dispute on intangible items, etc... Only thing is, they do not have a Debit Card/Prepaid Card like PayPal, so no instant access to cash which is important to domainers....

I think they will take out PayPal though once they iron everything out. Amazon just has more consumer confidence than eBay/PayPal..

Watch out for Google Wallet too though...

I was actually reading this story earlier today. There was a later minor retraction of sorts indicating that the Amazon payment system had been in effect for a while. It was the new system roll out for recurring payments, like monthly bills.

Either way, I agree. Amazon will be a major factor in this.

By the way, what ever happened to the Visa system, V.me?

Just goes to show you that Amazon is THE master (er, .guru) of advertising and promo.

The only thing I do not like is it takes 5 - 7 business days not including weekends to get a withdraw at Amazon versus Paypal's 3-5 business days.

If you want the money right away then they offer drone service for additional fee.
The money will be on your rooftop the same day.

Biggest fear amazon has regarding drone delivery? Everyone using them as skeet shooting sport and shooting them down.
