The auction history of the domains that i won in 2005-2006 doesn't show at "Order History" . Anyone know whats happening?. I had that scumbug competing with me in several auctions in 2005-2006.

From this was clear my proxy bid was $753. So if they really wanted this domain, they knew they can add just $4 to their current bid and get it. But they did not.
Last year when was the huge OVT drop I asked Snapnames for one domain to offer it to Halvarez for his lowest last bid under mer and first highest over Guy no 3 and told him I will pay the different. Because I made too high proxy bid by mistake. Guess what - Halvarez-arsehole rejected it, but Nelson was so nice he gave it for the 3rd guy for much much lower price and did not want the different.

He was caught by DNF members years ago, reported, and Snap denied it all - it's called conspiring to commit fraud.

Someone at DNF deleted that important thread TONIGHT.

This thread contained very incriminating posts by Kjel, and some direct accusations about Halvarez that turned out to be TRUE.

So, why is DNF deleting that thread and destroying evidence??

I'm guessing the guy had some kind of delete all or fail safe program in place possibly, esp. if he was the VP of Engineering. For all we know the account bidding history is gone for many people for good. I would surely not be suprised whatsoever.

Just another thought - if he actually wanted a specific domain, surely it was within his power to just grab it quietly and not send it to auction? Why take the risk of putting it "through the system" and being discovered by SnapNames management?

A dropped name would still show up on SOMEONE's dropping/deleting list. So on that end, there had to be a legit front.

Who gives a shit. Getting back anything will not be close to what is owed in stolen funds and names.

Justice served for me will be watching these pricks in handcuffs being led away by federal marshals.

I have a brother that is a federal marshal. When I can catch up with him (I have no idea where he is at this moment) I'll ask him if he knows anyone in cyber crimes.

You would think that a "known, high-volume buyer" would have some security checks done on them to make sure they were legit, or at least have someone from Snapnames call them and give them some personal attention for giving them so much business. If Snapnames had done either of these with halvarez this would've been solved years ago.

Makes me sick saying "years ago". How the hell could something like this go on for so long without some kind of a security check catching it. That is, unless Snapnames knew it was going on and was just turning a blind eye.

Not necessarily - with all the two-bit registrars that Snap uses he could have easily siphoned off a lot of names and no-one would have been any more suspicious than they already were with the auction arrangement.

What's suspicious is that, if he was serious about catching names for himself, he could have easily created his own registrars and grabbed whatever he liked. If he wanted, he could have even sabotaged SnapNames ability to catch particular domains, so that he'd have a better chance at grabbing them himself. But he didn't and that's why it seems that there's more to this than just one rogue domainer.

You know Chris, I thought of the same thing while going through the list of registrars that managed my Snap'ped domains through the years. The worst bunch ever, even worse than Pool's.

So we're talking about a well-thought plan here, and its execution "Madoff" style: even with everybody crying "Wolf!" Snapnames could not catch him; he was so high up the corporate ladder to be deemed "untouchable".
