This was a domain reg by me in 2004. I never did anything with it until I recently moved my domains to GoDaddy. Now it is parked and is among my top 5 in traffic of aprox 2500+ domains (Only 1 months worth of data). Click through is poor but I suspect the parked page is a disappointment to most visitors. Thoughts on a price?

I cant see this domain getting a lot of traffic, its odd and never was developed, you only compare it to your other domains in terms of traffic, and since its in your top 5 I think that only says something about your other domains.
If click-through is poor to none its probably because its just bot traffic.

I freely admit I have a bunch of lame domain names that I picked up as I continue to learn this business. But, I was drawn into this business by the opportunity to discover new valuable names not the resale business tied to domain flipping.

That traffic is not too bad, would be interesting where the traffic comes from though..
good that you got into the business, but its almost impossible to register "new + valuable" domains. I am sure you regged some nice brandable names, but when you say you regged 2500 new names that means a lot of renewal fees for names that might not bring in a lot of money. Usually it is better to buy 20 good names instead of 2500 names that dont bring in any money and that nobody wants.. any luck so far with good sales?

Still have not made any sales, but I have not tried. My goal is to develop to a reasonable level on some, put in some quick sites on others, and finally pursue end user buys on some good parked names. You are right, renewal will kill if I try all of them... I consider the bad ones the cost of tuition in this hard knocks school of domains. Fortunately, the name purchased center around multiple themes and I can hopefully sell then in package deals vice one at a time.

Thanks for the feedback - I have learned and my rampant buying has trickled to quality names only. Ok, I still choose lemons but much less frequently.
