but even they are hard sells,

will increase in value or maybe develop with some promotion

bike forum is concentrated on bikes, where biking forum covers bikes and biking. Bikes forum is a no... imagine 'domainsforum' or 'dnsforum', etc.

I think it has great development potential.

You're right on biking, it has half the search type ins of bike.
Both mountain bike and dirt bike break 100,000.

But for the term biking I'd go for mountain biking.
Mountain bikers are a nice bunch I know a couple clubs
where people would sign up.
