They've been getting a lot of names in the last week, all formerly at Network Solutions and all were in either "Hold" or "PendingRenewalDeletion" status (newyorknewyork.com, freewill.com, etc., etc.)

Why is it bad?

Those domains plus many other were all transferred out of Network Solutions and into eNom right before they were about to be auctioned off. Highly suspicous stuff.

All of these names were legitimately purchased.. These allegations are not appreciated. Would mods mind locking and jailing thread?

Nothing suspicious about contacting the previous registrant and buying it from them before it hits the auction.

nothing suspicious about a legitimate sale, please keep your allegations to yourself if you do not have any facts to back them up

Well, on the original posters behalf, i too thought it looked suspicious, I noticed the same thing. Most of the contact info for those names was obsolete, but they never made it to auction. Case in point would be oca.com. But there is no evidence to back up a theft here, it only "looks" suspicious. You have to question yourself when you see excellent names expired, outdated whois, and it must be "true magic" that Merlin is able to find these people and facilitate a transfer consistantly.
