I started regging around June 2002. I have approx. 65 names and could not sell any of them.

Don't feel bad Sir Alex. I've been at this a couple years and have yet to make a sale. For the immediate future I'm going to work more on development and not worry too much about sales-- except when it rains and I have to empty the buckets in the attic. :)

Sold 3 in spring and had 2 offers on another one. But's true, buyers contact you, if they really want a certain name.

Great vintage post.

It helps put the usual peaks & troughs of any market into perspective.

The market is definitely picking up again. Just started escrow for a hi $x,xxx domain and I've started getting emails/inquiries again. Now as soon as I get some funds I will buy, buy, buy before the prices blow up again.

Edit: Eeh.. Didn't see that this thread was started in 2002.

0z.com $945
lets.com $3,030
say.com $22,000
arl.net $300

Say.com for $22k. I'd hit that. :)
