Apple snaps up variety of .camera, .photography domains

Apple has acquired another batch domains from ICANN, reports note. The latter this week opened up access to more generic top-level domains; Apple secured 16 .camera and .photography addresses, specifically one of each for names including "aperture," "apple," "facetime," "imovie," "iphoto," "isight," "photobooth," and "retina." it will be a very expensive wave of domain purchases for them, especially the .app extensions. oh and for us too ;-)
