I am following the advice given to me by some forum members - if you gonna reg a TV, you got to want it bad eough to develop it - anything else and its sheer pot luck.

Well, I am fascinated by reality crime shows such as forensic files, the first 48, and am sure there are more than just me hooked on this genre.

I am particularly fascinated by the death penalty concept and those states and countries that have it, carry it out and in some cases actually video the deaths.

I believe it would make an excellent fit with the TV ext because it could show clips of men and women on death row, interviews by TV pudits on the subject and make for a great debate forum.......

So, how much is this domain worth??? I really know the answer now - "don't care".....the real question is how much time can I devote to this project and how much will it cost me to develop the site!!

I think you have the right idea as far as development goes. Since television is finding it's way to the Internet then one day the name might fit the extention. If you had video clips on the site then it could almost make perfect sense at that point.

Without the development plans it is a close call on whether it is worth it from a speculators point of view. Since you are passionate about the subject then I think you will make it work.

well..you said it yourself by using the word..deathrow might be the better domain, its taken as well, so if you own that one too its probably better to develop it under that name if you focus on interviews etc..but for the longshoot that they ever broadcast that stuff this one is better...maybe some local Texas station is interested already...I like your idea good thinking,interesting name..

Someone must have read my original thread, because when I checked Death Penalty, I also checked Death Row & Capital Punishment, checked all three on Overture and the results came in 43,000 for death penalty, 23,000 for caital punishment and 12,000 for death row...........my finances are limited so i took the top two OVT's............now Deathrow has gone aswell - which tells me someone else sees the potential too!!!

And yes, I did take the longshot outlook - also Death Penalty has a broader subject matter than death row - some countries hand out death penalties that are carried out immediatey - no death row luxuries there!!!

Death Row will be covered in much detail aswell .........but also each & every court case , yet to be decided by the jury, but where the penalty - if convicted, would be death........see what I mean by more subject matter...But thank you very much for the encouragement - appreciated!!

I think deathrow.tv is a better domain too. Its not always overture count thats important. I usually go for how it sounds and how brandable it could be. Besides, i think its a long way before .TV starts showing even on top 3 pages of search engines. Some reasons search engines dont place that much importance on .TV and other relatively new extensions.

But nice idea and plan any how.
