A guy wants to buy ProtectU.com from me for his Exective Protection Service (body guards). I know he won't pay 5,000 because I already suggested that. What do you think it's worth?

Many will tell its worth as much as buyer is ready to pay.
Personally I wouldn't register that name, but some people can make money from the air.
You have to be tough negotiator, but not too tough.
Good luck.

I agree with options. If you have a protection-rerlated client waiting, fine. Otherwise, not a blockbuster.

Did you see BigFart's post the other day on how he negotiates? It was pretty insightful.

Basically, call him and tell him you want (like 4-5 times what your minimum really is), then go silent. Let him break that silence and tell you it's more than he expected. Then ask him what number would he close the deal on that day. If it's in your range, then tell him you need to talk to your partner, put him on hold for a while and then come back telling him you will work with him.

BF could probly explain it much better than I, but that's the gist!

Take care-

I'm not too sure about how the buyer feels (you know better than I) but I would say that the domain could go for $100 or more. Mostly because it could be very useful in the security for internet users.

I personally like the domain :)
