Too bad these didn't surface before the recall

Wouldn't have mattered. Arnold is in a documentary called Pumping Iron that was filmed in seventies about him, and he is smoking pot on film and chasing around chicks left and right. No one cares. If those photos would've came out prior to the recall it would've been even more of a landslide...he would've gotten 100% of San Francisco's vote......

well, the original forum was platinum forum and it says discuss anything you want

I do believe many here are interested in the latest scandal involving a major news figure this week

yes I own the site, and I even bought it right here recently

I don't see any harm in posting such a post in the discuss anything forum

obviously, you think any topical posts about any site someone is connected to should not be made

so I guess I'll just ignore that forum

I don't need a few more hits to any of my sites

So if the post broke the post anything you want here in that forum, sorry

I just won't post to that forum again

Like I said, I thought others would like to see the info that is causing a stir

Anyway, I'll just keep out of that forum

the post belongs in the advertising folder
people may like to see a scandal but it doesnt belong in the platinum forums if it were allowed you would get a second advertising forum...

your problem with it being in the Platinum forum which says "DISCUSS ANYTHING YOU WANT" is that since the site is one of the 1000+ sites we own, you don't want use discussing it at DNF

now if I didn't own the site then you wouldn't have moved it

anyway, put a caveat in the DISCUSS ANYTHING YOU WANT in the PLATINUM forum, say as long as you "DON'T OWN THE SITE"

so you can "Discuss Anything you want" in the Platinum forum as long as it doesn't concern a site you own

the simple solution is I won't post in that forum since it's a censored forum and you can't discuss "ANYTHING YOU WANT"

I must agree with adoninet on this one. I was under the impression that anything goes in this section regardless of where the links may take you. We are all what I consider to be "friends" here so there is no need for nit-picking. I have learned alot from you guys so far, and I don't want to see finger pointing over trivial posts.

Platinum Lounge is for "Anything You Want" discussions (within reason). However it might have been better if the specific site referred to in this post (rantoftheweek.com) wasn't offered for sale elsewhere on the Board ( http://www.dnforum.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=41239&highlight=rant ).

Having the site on sale elsewhere on the board and using the Lounge to feature its content risks the post being viewed as self-promotion.
