Hi!

I have owned Art.US for some time and have some ideas for it but have done nothing with it. I have what may be a good offer (mid-upper $X,XXX). I am a quandry though as I thing about the sub domain possibilities as well as other features that this domain offers plus, for once, the US association may actually have some saleability i real world use for US artists, etc. The Overture number is near 900K for art.

Dance.BIZ is a recent acquisition. I have a lower $X,XXX offer for it. I don't have any personal thoughts regarding it's use but it does describe a wide field of endeavor and the Overture number is like 656K.

Neither have been developed and have very low traffic which is likely, mostly, from other domainers!

It does seem to be getting much harder to get decent drops even in .us and .biz esp. if you are talking single word descriptiveds like these. While I don't think it's relavent (her or anywhere?), Chat.de just sold for $470,000 at SEDO. An 'OUCH' but it does make one think since if I'd had it, I likely would have asked about $500 for it!

Thanks for your input regardless of you valuation.

If you have had these offers for these domains take them and run,my appraisal $100 for dance.biz and $500 for art.us unless you can find an enduser like they did for chat.de which was crazy money.

It sounds like you are being offered enduser prices.
Reseller prices would be high $$$ to low $$$$. I would sell...

art.us

Could be worth 40.000 to an end user and 5000 to a reseller
.us is going to ne hot. pretty soon now. we are seeing a .cc planting with .de .cn .jp
.in.co .uk.co and the rest the .us will be a boom. The .us owns so many .com's it's slow on the take. But people in the US like me love money so we will sell the .com to other nations of people than the great divide .com and .us so if income is important to your now get it on a ppc or lease this domain name. The .biz is worth 100.00

To a fine art dealer $$$$ is childs play litterally. Have you seen the so called art work painted by kids and monkeys being sold for $xx,xxx? If you're not much of an art fan the next time you're in a local restaurant ask them how much the painting is on the wall since alot of local artists display their work in them. I'd be willing to be they say $xxxx if not $xx,xxx? YOu might not even have to ask the price tag may be on it just like it would be in a store. I have a collection of >lithographs< not even the actual paintings that sell for $xxxx each on ebay at that.

Dance is another big one worder. Let's face it how many of us have never done it?

Sounds to me like you're getting reseller pricing offers.

Hold it if you dont need the money.

The dance.biz I would sell.. The art.us I would hold on to and develop.. Plus, it doesnt hurt to counter offer.

Thanks to all for the thoughts. I'll have to convince my wife about the art.us domain. I do have some thoughts for it but they involve some complex programming. I need to get busy with that and try not to look for domains as much. As we all know too well, the good ones are few and far between and expensive too unless Go Daddy or one of the minor, cheap catchers gets it for you. Oddly, Go Daddy works very well with these fortunately and to some decent degree with .info and .org. .COM and .NET are almost 'forget it' unless you love auctions and making registrars very rich! Dance will go, I think and may appease her a little, at least!

Just point them both to pr0n and claim insanity.

Art.us - one of the best. Minimum $xxx, xxx now, likely $x,xxx, xxx and above later. $xx,xxx now would be a "discount."

I'd like to see a single sale of a .us domain exceeding $25k.
