When selling a domain name is it better to list an asking price or ask for potential buyers to make an offer?

Hi

it depends on situation and maybe the domain.

if.....someone contacts you about purchasing your domain name without submitting an initial bid, then most times I would ask them to "Make an Offer".

if....you are listing domains on a site like Sedo, then some names you might list with a "Buy it Now" price and some with "Make Offers"

however, if you are the solicitor... sending out spam emails to potential buyers, then it's "your" responsibility to have a price in mind when asked or include it in initial correspondence.

imo...
