I will be very frank. I'm not an expert in this industry. I have other offline businesses. But now I'm getting interested in online ventures too. For starters, the domain reselling business.

I am already a Web Hosting company based in UK. I have around 600 hosting customers. I could do business of a few hundred domain registrations each month. I have not been doing domain registration actively so far. I have my own servers purchased from EV1 for the purpose of my hosting customers. I use a commercial control panel for them. I have 5 people in my company to manage this business. I want to sign up with a Registrar which provides the best option for me.

Q What are the factors that I should consider while choosing a Regsitrar?
Q What do you think about Wild West Domains considering my customer base size?

Enom reseller. WWD is no good, you have to renewal membership fees, and pricing is no good.

I would recommend Directi or Enom, I myself use Directi. Start off with at least $500 as that will get you very competitive pricing. Then, you better have a credit card gateway and Paypal gateways are very handy too, because there is zero fees.

For your credit card gateway, go for 2Checkout.

FYI, it's a general rule of thumb not to register your domain and get hosting from the same place. Keep that in mind.

Go with eNom, though.

Isn't reselling kind of low profit margin?

I mean, unless you have other things to back it up, such as hosting, e-mail services, etc to generate recurring income.
