Looks like someone filed a UDRP on the following generics:

adelaide.com
brisbane.com
melbourne.com
n-sydney.com
perth.com
s-sydney.com

Case: D2007-0132

I guess if a name like AlbertaCanada.com can be transferred to the Canadian government by UDRP decision, the Australian government feels like they can toss the dice.

Seriously... I think a domainer who owns premium city .com names should encourage/help support the owners of this to ensure a fair defense of these names is made. It would be highly detrimental if this went against the respondent.
