There is a whole autograph scene that I know very little about, but I could see it being developed as a forum. To a reseller it's probably not worth anything.

agreed, I dont think it is worth much to a reseller.
But developed (as usual) the story changes, because there is a significant market for autographs.
check ebay to see how many autographed items are being sold, and, how many ebay stores deal with such items...
