I registered a lot of domains with Yahoo, and it seems the month a group of them are due for renewal, my card was "auto-charged" for the domains.

So, a bunch of charges come through on one day. I tried turning off this "auto-renew" feature, and after spending a prolonged period of time on hold and arguing with Yahoo! domains tech support who lovingly pointed out the "fine print"...which presumably, I was too stupid to notice.

I was informed if I wanted to turn "auto-renew" for a domain off, I would have to cancel my domain. In other words, delete it.

This is probably illegal, unethical and downright stupid.
I am urging all of my associates to avoid Yahoo! domains.

i bought a lot of them when they were selling for 2.99 a year or 1.99 a year.
now they only allow you reg one domain at that price and renuvals are $9.99

need to start moving them out beginning next year.
