I don't think the 'Y' hurts it that much really. I consider this as a single-syllable, pronounceable LLL.com . I wouldn't sell for less than $20k. Good name!

The thing is that the end user is probably not going to brand it as a single syllabe, he is more likely to purchase this name because it;s an acronym he needs. In this case, the Y hurts it because it's not used as often as other letters in acronyms, so it's going to be harder to find this end user.

It's also important to realize however, that once an end user is found, it will not matter anymore if the 3 letter domain is all premium, or all crap letters, they are worth as much as the buyer can pay for it. If the end user needs XQZ.com , then he might as well pay as much as the other guy who needs to buy ABI.com.

agreed completely. JFK.com would be worth a 100k even though it has two non premium letters!
