If you don`t sell it for that price than we`ll become all ZILLIONAIRES.

What have you decided to do ? Have you sold it yet ? Creature.

Hold on a minute.....you were the guy who asked me appraisals on another forum on your 3 lettes .eu.........now you claim to have this fantastic offer on a simple 4 letters .com which cointan a low quality letter (Z) and guess what?

You just started an auction on Ebay with a new username........and

Starting bid £34,950.00
with zero offers......

I don`t know why but something looks strange to me....

Yep, it's up on E-bay. I guess people can really change fast. One day your emotionally attached to a name as if it's your first born child, the next day it's on e-bay.

I can give you one ship in bottle if you want to trade for azam.com.

I guess the 73k bid fell through.

Thanks for the feedback everybody.

Jeez... calm down guys :) The reason we've just put it on Ebay and started promoting it elsewhere too is because we've never actively marketed it before. The offers I've had have always been people seeking me out and emailing me.

Before I decide whether to sell to the current company interested in the domain and sign any paperwork, I obviously want to see if I can get more for it. Hence the current marketing push. I think it's a sensible thing to do.

Thanks again to everyone :)

About $63,000. Is there a reserve price at ebay? I´m interested. Creature

Just having fun with you. I figured it was a test balloon but couldn't resist the shot after reading the emotional and sentimental stuff about the name.:)

Actually I have several domain names that I am very reluctant to give up as well, because the name personally means something to me. It would take some serious negotiating to pry them away from me. Even if someone was waving 75k in front of my face I might have regrets about it later on. Does anybody else here have domain names like that, or does most everyone here buy and sell them as quickly as they can? Just curious...

Kingpin,

I own www.thais.net. I was offered USD 10,000 recently but I refused to sell it as I am a Thai and I have plans to develop a portal networking all the Thais. I would sell the domain if it's something I really can't refuse. Otherwise, like Azam, I have an emotional attachment to this name.

I have one domain that is sentimental to me but it's a tm and could be taken away at any time.
It's sentimental because it's the first domain that actually made me daily revenue and made me believe this domaining idea could actually work out.

Ahhh 70k is a lot, no one else will give you that offer, sell it to them. If you don't I'll offer 100$ for it. Don't get greedy man, greed gets you no money and a thought on what could have been.

I guess my 100 junior bacon cheeseburger offer was not accepted. I will eat them myself then. Best of luck with your sale. Make sure the current offer does not get away from you by seeking additional offers.

and sure you can still buy some decent names with 73K
if you re-invest in domains then you are set
if not one day you will finish the money and regret

Yeah - I didn't think I was the only one. It's almost like collecting StarWars figures, baseball cards, etc. You can hang on to them forever and keep them on your shelf, although if you want to make some cash I guess you have to let go of 'em sometime. (Unless it's yoda... he's a keeper).

Am I missing something here ?

If you were offered 73k for a medioka 4 letter .com, why would you then put it on ebay for 63k?

What if it sells at 63k?

Just a little confused. Perhaps you could shed some light on this.

Creature.

That's only the starting bid to try to entice people. Obviously hoping it will go for more.

Yes, there's a risk involved, but some experts say it's better to set lower amount than you are looking for and hope the bidding goes higher.
