Other then pool.com and sibername.com, is there any other sites that offer back-ordering of .ca domains?

I notice that pool.com has been missing good .ca's more frequently lately.

Also what does Namespro.ca charge for that?

namespro = poor + cumbersome control panel for bidding have to bid $16.88 minimum
sibername = good $25.00 min bid
pool = can be good $60 min bid

I have been using Pool so far and have been getting a number of expiring .ca domains but I do notice they miss a fair amount of them, more so more recently.

I am going to try using sibername as well now

Siber did well this past week. I like their system, you get the name if you're the only bidder, if there are two or more bidders it goes to auction between the pre-bidders only. Haven't tried Pool yet.

Sibername seems to have problems with their auctions every once a while. An auction is canceled because of an error etc.

How do you backorder on their site? I don't see it

Ok for the last drop of Wednesday, Sibername didn't pick up anything that I can see.

Also Pool.com didn't pick up much.

However if you look at the results page on Sibername, the good names from the drop are being picked up almost instantly by many different registrars that are not connected to pool or sibername.

I use their backorder and usually have a pretty good result.

You won't see Pool.com's name they use many registrars through partnerships. I believe they picked up a lot of the drops this week?

I had an issue with their auction this week. I was the high bidder after the drop. I wasn't going to be around for the auction finish so I attempted to put in a higher max bid - it then bumped up the current bid another $10 with me still as the current high bidder. What's with that? I just checked it and nobody else bid so I paid an extra $10 for nothing. It's only $10 but placing a higher max bid shouldn't change your current winning bid imo.

And yes, they had a terrible week considering how good they usually do.

I had that experience with sibername on several names also.
I changed my max bid during the auction and it automatically bumped that to the high bid. When i know no one else was bidding. I was just trying to increase the proxy bid.

Same here with Sibername, you can't have a proxy bid. You end up out bidding yourself. What a lovely feeling.

So just to revisit this thread for the moment, other than Sibername and Pool there really isn't any other good .ca backorder sites out there then?

I tried Namespro for a bit but they seemed horrible, never able to pick up anything and now their service seems to be offline for some re-tooling.
