What are your thoughts on the URL beautifulhomes. com ? Registered since 1997.

What I like (personally) about this URL is it's versatility. It is not one-dimensional like (lets say) buyhomes.com where that name can only be used for buying homes.

"Beautiful Homes" however can mean many things and can be used by many industries because of it's incredibly generic nature.

For instance, it can be used by a home improvement company as well as an interior design company. Can also be used as a real estate agency who specializes in Luxury type home sales etc . And has many other real estate implications and uses IMHO.. These are just my personal opinions but I also want the opinions of others for this generic URL . Thanks all kindly in advance.

Definately a beauty. The name rolls off the tongue, looks a picture on the page, and has extremely positive connotations and vibes going on. You're right, it's also very versatile. Where BuyHomes.com is generic and descriptive, I think BeautifulHomes.com would be a better business name. I think this name is worth a minimum of $25k, but I can see 6 figures on the horizon if you get a motivated buyer.

In summary, there are few better domains for high-end, quality real estate.

Beautiful name - one that really could go through the roof!

Reller $xx,xxx end user high $xx,xxx upwards

Reseller $3K- $6K

Potential for a real estate company $$$,$$$

nice but ahead of its time.

Excellent name. Could be the name of a national high end realestate company. End user low $xxx, xxx. You even have the plural.

I'm assuming that the name only gets 40-80 uniques per day, so I would place the value at mid $,$$$ if used for PPC. If developed by an end user, you could possibly get low $$,$$$.

Thanks all for your input . With the way home prices are skyrocketing, and with all the home improvement (quick fix) TV programs coming out over the last couple years (TV programs geared to making homes more beautiful) , I think the name has some inherent value.

Good name the only issue is half the people can't spell beuttifull ;)

10k.

That is good input. I had a domain I was going to buy named: amateurpoetry.com -but I can't even spell amateur without a dictionary.

But 'beautiful' isn't quite as bad as that (at least for me).

I also think 10K+ is very possible. I've been focussing on Real Estate related domains lately and think their future is very bright.

Beautifulhomes.com receives 134 overture results with extension.

dnforum.com receives 53

Agree on that one loads of typos out there for this one !

Consider what kind of people are going to be looking for "beautiful homes".

If this domain will be developed into a site for top end property, I think the literacy level goes up :) Making beutifull less of a problem.

That is a damn good point Luke.. It would be the affluent who would type in this name anyways..
