Hey guys,

I'm a little reluctant to pay even $30 at NameJet to backorder some domains.. is there any other service out there for cheaper than $30/domain which can try and grab a domain after expiring?

Thanks,
Dan

i think their services are closer to $69 for any real domains, and they are the once with the most muscle which means its pointless to go elsewhere.

Exclusive backorders start around that price, but they can also try and catch other domains for min. $29.

Unfortunately if the domain you are trying to backorder is not worth $30...it will most likely drop these days and no one will backorder it.

Thanks. So there's no other service which "watches" a domain and periodically checks if it is available (and either alerts you or auto-registers the domain)? I remember RegisterFly had a pretty cr@ppy service like this a few years back.. hmm.

There are many secret backorder programs and private registrars setup by individuals to get domains that aren't worth backordering at Namejet etc... This includes Domain tasters who taste most of the domain drops. There are programs out there for this or if you are good at programming you can create your own.
