I have about 200 domains mostly obtained from pool and snapnames. Hence they are spread through many tin-pot registrars throughout the world.

I would like to consolidate them into one registrar where I can easily renew them, manage them (preferably in bulk) etc. and which is pretty reasonable in cost. Frustrations I have had so far are many of these registrars not replying to support requests. I have even lost a couple of domains where I could not login to renew and they didn't reply to emails.

Please could anyone recommend which registar I should use.

Thanks,
Paul.

a few to consider

enom (many dnf members swear by them)
godaddy (lots of coupons on the web, great phone support)
moniker (look for old threads, pm them and they will give you a bulk rate)

have you tried any of these?

i would recommend GoDaddy.

for consolidating....

enom - buy a $6.95 account or get a free $8.95 reseller account from another enom reseller

moniker - contact monte for reseller rate of $6.95. ( the offer may NO Longer be valid, check to confirm)

i only use godaddy if buying from someone, when it's at this registrar.
too many "profit centers" for the newbie domainer.

i wouldn't register names there or transfer to them.

Registerfly.com is the best. Use them

Moniker

some members here say good things about DynaDot

I do not recommend GD - if you have any trouble with the name - not much help on their side and if they receive C&D letter for one of your names - they may charge you $30 for "processing" (“processing” really means informing you that you are $30 short)

1and1 - the worst - run away like hell!

UPDATE: Members are complaining recently about Moniker's Support Staff interested more in social networking events rather than responding to emails so you may hold on with the transfer until they are going to move back to right path. Than - I see no direct competition for them.

Hi,

I would suggest you to go for Wild West Domains Reseller Program (same as GoDaddy reseller) (Basic or Pro Program). Transfer all your domain at the discounted price set by yourself. This will be the cheapest option you could ever imagine. The private registration is for $1.99 only. As you have 200 domains - the price for reseller account is easily pays off.

If you want private registration for all the domain, I suggest for GoDaddy, where you can claim free private registration if you are transferring more than 5 domains at a time.

Best of luck,

Thanks for your responses. I had decided to go with Moniker as I was already dealing with them on the TRAFFIC auction, but as per muris, I have emailed to no avail. And this was after receiving a boilerplate email from my contact saying that he wanted to "reconnect" as he was aware that they had been distracted by TRAFFIC recently.

Same thing happened when they asked me as a trial to move my 1500 hits/day domain to trafficclub. Their system said someone else had already parked my domain with them! I emailed to silence and moved it back to Sedo. I never heard a peep.

I personally like dynadot.com! Quite cheap, good service, and free domain tasting :p

Moniker.com! afaik, bulk price of $6.95 is still on offer. You'll just have to email them (check threads here for a rep).. Transfers are also quick.

One thing I don't like is the support email which takes days for them to get back.

Good luck

nobody is easier or more reliable than enom...
