Ask all your friends, family, colleagues, community, constituency to install the Alexa toolbar on their browser and go to your site at least twice a day Seriously.

i wouldnt worry about alexa - it sucks ass!!!

there are loads of ways
firstly
content is king then use search engines, affiliate programs, submission to directories etc
