DNS Kidd you have a great name. Congratulations and well done. Once in the next three years, a bio firm that needs immediate presence on the internet will contact you. You are in a great position. When they come looking, you hold the key domain.

Do not sell your domain short when they ask “if you are using the domain”. Bio.us can mean bio dot US (as in United States) or bio dot us (as in Toys are us). But the multiple uses of BIO as a key term is what puts in into 4 $digits immediately and who knows what the future will bring.

More on this interesting name.

I found it on ePay, and offered the seller $3500 for it. Seller accepted, and we should let the auction end (no bids), and make the transaction.

I replied to seller to do transfer, seller replies back "I have offer of $3500, but am selling for $8000 now, thank you.

Two, is this name worth the asking price? I cound reg 500 other names at $7 each for the cost of this one name. I want a quality portfolio, but this one seems a bit expensive.

As of now, it'd be (IMO) biotech.com followed by bio.us followed by bio.net; whether bio.us would become #1 remains to be seen and that may take a while...!
