- We should keep monitoring these registrations. They will give us an indication as to when a "rebound" in the market will occur. If we have registrations like this for a sustained period it's a good sign things are going to get better.

5500 new .BIZ and 5500 new .US in the last 24 hours (but only 137 .INFO). I think that will turn out to eb some kind of mistakes (as has happened before). Those 5500's are huge numbers. I would like for it to be true but with the .info count that low, I don't believe it is.

I think people are taking advantage of the savings before 4/03 ends. Who knows. Either way it's good for .biz/.us! Even if the #'s are wrong. Any publicity is good publicity!

Hey mole, at this rate .biz will hit 1,000,000 reg's in 18 days---May 8, 2003. Maybe sooner if the above is true as I could see the daily reg #'s come in at a higher count towards the end of april.

At this rate, .biz should hit the 1 million mark by the end of July... maybe sooner if the economy picks up.


btw: This may be a bit off topic, but I was reading today, that baby boomers who are starting to retire are just "discovering" the internet. They have more time to surf. Emailing family is the biggest attraction. My guess is they are going to want to start "buying" great names they missed out on to start their own e-businesses... Just a educated guess though!
