Hi,

I am pretty new to this business, but I have been constructing websites for some time and a while back a client decided he didn't want this domain name to compliment his bizzib.co.uk

Personally I think he is crackers and bizzib.biz is much better. Anyway, I have it on my books and I was wondering if it is worth keeping?

bizzib.bizz (bizzy bee dot bizzzzzzzzzz) :cheesy:

bizzy bee $0. :goofy:

reg fee, don't keep it :worried:

Yup, either don't renew it or try to scam someone at eBay into buying this. :cheesy:

Thanks everyone for advising me on this domain name, I will have another word with the client to see if they will take it.

One thing I have noticed in all your replies though.... none of you say why? What is the criteria, should all .biz domains be avoided?

Constructive feedback would be most appreciated in order for me and other viewers to this forum to get a better idea of what is going on.

Thanks :-D

Why? Because it doesn't make any sense. It's not a dictionary word. It's the sort of name that will only be worth anything after being heavily branded and marketed. So it is only useful to your client that has a business called 'Bizzib', but even he doesn't want it. :-P The extension doesn't have anything to do with this. I would still say it's worth $0 even if it was a .com domain.

I see now, thank you for your explanation.

BTW. The name is pronounced bizz eee bee.

actually ... it's not, it's pronounced bizz ib, but maybe thats why you think it should have more value, but people who just see it in print would never come to that conclusion or pronunciation.

Hehe,

I stand corrected, what I meant was that the old client pronounced it Bizzi B and that was the intention of the domain name. It actually works better with a logo.

I thought it was Bizzy Bee at first glance

$0, if it was .com ,reg fee

it has nothing to do with the extension, its a lousy name.
