I'd have to pin it in todays market $15K to $30K.
But I think it will go up.

This is nearly the perfect blog domain name. It has the potential to bring together all aspects of blogging- not just a single blogging web site.

There are conferences on blogging.
"BlogOn 2004 is SOLD OUT"

There are venture funded companies devoted to mining blogs to give the data to Fortune 500 companies.

Blogs have alterted the political landscape.
Remember the fake Bush stuff uncovered by bloggers.

Blogs are altering the news gathering landscape (I recently ask Daniel Schorr about Blogs and he said that they have and are changing news reporting)

There was a recent blog business summit

This is a high $XXX,XXX domain - at least

I think the domain is worth at least low $xxx, xxx to an end user. I advice you
to sell it as soon as possible, because blogs are very popular at the moment.
You should try to sell the domain for $250,000+, but don't sell it for less than
$100,000 (or maybe $75,000 if you're looking to sell it fast). Blogging.com is a
valuable premium domain. Good luck with selling it!

Careful of some appraisals on here as they are not realistic, ive seen many quote xx,xxx but when you try and post it on the sales thread not one offer comes in at low xxxxx so you have to be realistic, try and punt it out yourself and get a high figure or sit and wait for one,but for a quick spin 10k.

Wouldn't it be nice if this site could be developed, give away accounts, get as many (free, of course) users as possible, and then sold...

Right, my bad. I thought I'd looked it up a couple days ago. Bad memory.

No problem. By the way, if I ever sell this site, the number of users (unless I have 500,000 or above), will not make any difference. Anybody that will shell out the money that would be needed to buy it will be launching something huge (or they would not be spending that much money on a domain).
