There is no decent blogging software on the market at the moment.
Movable Type is by far the best but up till now they don't offer a multi-user license.

I hear they are working on a multi-user platform and license so I suggest you wait
until it is available..

I thought MovableType released their 3.0 with multiuser capacity just a while ago.

AND TypePad is a MovableType product, isn't it?

Right now it costs $1299.00 for a 50 user license.
More than that you must email them.
They are working on a better solution right now.

typepad.com is their paid service blogging site.

Believe it or not, I use Google's Blogger.com but host it on my own site. So All I need is there little logo at the bottom of the page and I'm set.

It is free and the tools keep getting better and better.

all wysiwyg through browser. I know it is not a program on your own system but for me right now it is working out and may help you too.
