I run another site similar to this that has been online for 8 months and already has 15,000 + members.
Because blooto.com isn't a dictionary name it makes this name very easy to brand and add additional services allowing you to grow this site. Also because of it's simplicity it can easily become a house hold name such as the ever famous google or ebay.
Age of site? 1.5 months
Approximately monthly page views and/or unique visitors?
I have been advertising so it is hard to say however there are
60+ members.
How does the site generate income? How much?
The site doesn't currently make any money but here are some ways it could:
place advertising in free email users accounts.
email users can upgrade there account. Take a look
make money through the search engine when webmasters bid on keywords. More then likely you won't have webmasters bidding right away however you can get paid from revenuepilot or search feed when members do a search. This is easily added through the admin section of the PPC script. VERY SIMPLE....
make money by other services you could easily add.
sell blooto clothing. Perhaps through cafepress.
That is only some of the ideas. There are tons of other ideas you could use to make money.
Who develops content and administers the site? I administer the site.
How much time does it require? currently no more then 15hrs a week.
What is the monthly cost of running the site?
The site currently resides on my dedicated server. I will need you to move this site to your
own server within 2 months after the sale. I can have my programmer move the site to a new server
for you. The cost of the server completly depends on how fast you want to grow this business.
If you expect it to grow fast I suggest getting a dedicated server that will run from $99/month
and up. You can also start up on a virtual server to get you started which could run you about
$20/month and up.
Reason for selling?
Because I simply have to many uncompleted projects as I have been focusing most of my time on
two other sites. Over the next month or so I will be dedicating my time to finishing off any
undone projects and selling them.
Will you help with the transition of the site to the new owner? Yes, I will provide 1 month of support.
