GoDaddy appraised at xxx. I think maybe x,xxx?? I don't know how to develop sites, but I understand that makes domains more valuable?:laser:

Can someone appraise my domains?

Maybe low XXX.

It's not worth that much, especially with TM issues.

Bmwstores.com should still be worth x,xxx-x,xxx depending on developing and right end user.

Only sites in bad faith have trademark issues?

Just don't use it to make money off the TM named of the German Car company and you will be fine ;-)

Look HERE

Ford is going after a brick & mortar Co. and their Website. :ouch!

After reading more in this forum, I see your point. Thanks. So what should I do with bmwstores.com?? Sell, hold on until BMW COMES KNOCKING?

I haven't developed the site.

I've been doing research on newbimmer.com. This one i'm pretty sure if free of trademark issues!! Could be worth x,xxx?

I'm a bmw owner and fan. So I always like bmw domains.

What do most domain buyers do with great domains that may have trademark issues?

Bmwstores.com will be(i'm sure) to some end user.

What's a good amount to hold and sellout on?

:whoo:

I now I dropped mine when I got a C&D from a lawyer. It hurt a lot more back then too! 70 bucks to reg a domain!

I then divested myself of any that might even be close to infringement.

Even with generic names you occasional get flames from wack jobs threatening to sue.

I would try to drop it like a dead raccoon, ditch it and mark it up to a lesson learned.

Good luck Nolz91

Give it to your bmw dealer and ask for life time tune ups,
life time warranty, etc. in return.

maintenance cost of bmw are quite expensive :-)

That my friend may not be a bad idea. My 2003 325i has 45,000 miles. Maybe I can make a deal on the domain for a some maintenance!!! lol

Bmwstores.com could be valuable used by an enduser for anything not bmw related, correct?

thanks for advice!(learning quickly)

If BMW comes knocking, they will simply take it from you.

This name is worth $0 because I'm assuming you do not hold the BMW trademark.

Brand it as something eles, I MEAN NO TRACE OF THE GERMAN CAR COMPANY BMW and you will fine, yes :)

If they choose to buy the name from you later and rebrand it for their car company then great!
But otherwise steer clear: no meta, no listing associated with it in any engine... Plain Na-Da no where , a new business with a differnt focus and you will be fine. It still has good letters.....

Good idea. I could use the letters bmw to stand for something not bmw related. Would it get traffic? Or should I just get rid of the domain?

Thought bmwstores.com was a steal at 8.95 reg fee until this thread!! :pound:

Thanks for the advice! (learning fast)
