Book review scripts

I recently purchased PHPManuals.com and i intend to develop it as an affiliate store but in order to provide worthwhile content I want to put in a user based review system so people can give their opinions about a given book. so I have two questions...

1. has anyone used a good script for making a book site that handles both products and reviews. (i will be checking hotscripts.com when i have time so i'm looking for any other scripts prefferably that someone has used themselves)

2. Apart from Amazon.com are there any good bookstore affiliate schemes available to non-us (in my case UK) residents
