A potential development project will be an on-line book club with revenue derived via donations, ads, and book sales commision. This was the most appropriate name I could find, but as you can see, it's not a .com.

Should I go out and get a nasty three word or more .com or stick with the more direct .tv?

Perhaps this is a good avenue into .tv.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Personally, I think the .tv would work but I would look a little longer to see if there are any other decent names with a bit more normal extension.

If you can't find anything, I think the .tv would suite you just fine. As you said, at least the name is direct.

.tv has loads of potential if you have a couple of million to spend on design and marketing - otherwise $0.

True for almost any name... including .com.
