The country domain Botswana.com regged since 1997.

A short info on Botswana:

GDP (PPP) 2006 estimate
- Total $18.72 billion (114th)
- Per capita $11,400 (60th)

Population
- 2006 estimate 1,815,508 (CIA factbook)

For over 30 years, Botswana had the fastest growing economy in the world. Since independence, Botswana has had one of the fastest growth rates in per capita income in the world.[1] Botswana has transformed itself from one of the poorest countries in the world to a middle-income country with a per capita GDP of $11,200 in 2006.[2] Economic growth averaged over 9% per year from 1966 to 1999.

thanks for the appraisals :
Simon

thanks. but i see that according to Per capita income, Botswana is one of the richest country in Africa, if not the richest in africa.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita

they are certainly not poor on a per capita basis...but since only a few people are making money on gold and diamonds.., and since its one of the smallest countries by population, mathematically the numbers look great..if you can get one of the rich guys to buy the name you are all set.

Excellent name Simon! I agree with the price appraisal range thus far . Don't sell for less than six figures. Just imagine where geo .com prices will be in 10 years. Best of luck.

Excellent name Simon
I would say $90 - $140k

If you hang on for a lot more you could well get it too, depending on who the buyer is.

re: iraq.com... thought it was 600k euros not $ the bidding went to?
