A nice sale in this recession times but for me 500k is a bargain for the buyer.

agree. its a steal.

you see crappy little american 'cities' or even suburbs! sell for six figs sometimes for the com, so one of the biggest countries in world, which is an incredibly important country also, you have to say the country .com here has to be in the 7 figure range imho. buyer got a good deal. would love to see the Brazilian tourist board be the buyer, hopefully they would have the sense

i personally would love this domain

Agreed.

Especially since there are double the results in the Portuguese, local spelling of 'Brasil'.

Way too good of a deal.

Massive market and audience. Plus, home to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Brilliant sale.

True,,,,but at $500k for Brazil.com......a complete steal imo!

Very good deal for buyer!

I remember once trying to buy a state in the USA for $300k+ and the guy didn't sell. And it was the cheapest out of all 50 states. This was pre-recession obviously. If Brazil.com would've been for sale at 500k back then, that would be a deal of the century.

Still is in this recession.

Ranked #3 in Google in my datacenter for "Brazil". Could very well be pulling down 10k+ uvs per day between search and type-in traffic. Even with scrappy old AdSense, you're likely looking at solid five figures annually if you know how to optimize ad placement + blending.

Awesome domain!

sedo has a healthy community of buyers. it is amazing how many times they are ringing the bell over there.

Hottest women EVAR also.

i wonder if my "crappy little american 'cities' or even suburbs!" .nets would sell on sedo?

Absolute bargain...

Nice sale... My congrats to the buyer.

Nice domain and sale, lots of top generics selling this year, auction, candy, server, office and now brazil. Must be some others I'm missing too.

awesome name! and huge country. I would have expected this to go for high 6 figures to 1mm+... Great deal.
